Position Summary

The Department of Art, Art History, and Design at Michigan State University is seeking to hire assistant professors, instructors, and assistant instructors in the field of studio art and graphic design. These positions will be filled for fall 2020.

Duties: 

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in graphic design and/or studio art foundations (drawing I)

Required Degree

Doctorate -Studio Art, Graphic Design

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

  • MA or MFA in Studio Art, Graphic Design, or related field desired for Instructor. BA in Studio Art, Graphic Design, or equivalent required for Assistant Instructor.
  • Experience teaching at the college level desired.
