Job Description
The Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, United Arab Emirates University, announces a vacancy for a Lecturer in Emirati Studies. Requirements and Qualifications: • A minimum of a Master's degree in Islamic Studies or a related field; a PhD is preferred. • Experience in university teaching, particularly in Emirati Studies, Prophetic Biography, and Islamic Culture. • Ability to utilize modern technologies and innovative teaching methods. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the department's academic activities. • Active participation in community service initiatives and activities. • Preference will be given to applicants who are citizens of the United Arab Emirates or one of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Required Documents: • Updated curriculum vitae (CV). • Copies of academic qualifications. • Experience certificates. • Any other supporting documents.
Minimum Qualification
To obtain a master's degree in Islamic studies or in a related field, with preference given to those holding a doctorate.
Preferred Qualification
Preference will be given to applicants holding a PhD in Islamic Studies or a related field. Preference will also be given to applicants who are citizens of the United Arab Emirates or one of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
