Position Overview
The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University announces a selection procedure for the position of Instructor of the Comprehensive Cancer Care Clinic of the Faculty of Medicine MU with shorter weekly working hours.
The Comprehensive Cancer Care Clinic is a joint workplace of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University and the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute (MOÚ). In addition to providing medical services, the clinic is actively engaged in teaching, scientific research, and educational activities. It primarily delivers practical training for students in medicine and other health-related disciplines.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Participate in theoretical and practical teaching within the department.
- Prepare study and teaching materials.
- Contribute to the organization of research and educational activities, including related administrative duties.
- Serve as a member of commissions for state final examinations.
- Participate in the education of doctoral students.
- Conduct independent research and development activities, including publishing and presenting research results.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Completed university education in medicine (MD) or an equivalent qualification obtained abroad.
- Completed doctoral education or current enrollment in a doctoral study program.
- Specialized qualification or training toward a specialized qualification in accordance with Act No. 95/2004 Coll. (physicians, dentists, and pharmacists).
- Professional experience in the relevant field and teaching experience.
- Ability to conduct independent professional and research work, including publishing activities.
- Ability to actively participate in international conferences or professional seminars.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Fluency in Czech (spoken and written).
- A proactive attitude, initiative, and willingness to pursue further professional development.
- Moral integrity.
Additional Requirement:
Employment at the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute (MOÚ) is a prerequisite for appointment to this position.
