About TSI
The Technical School of Innovation (TSI) at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) is a dynamic and rapidly growing private educational community established in 2019 with the support of the governments of the Kyrgyz Republic and the United States. Position Overview
TSI is seeking passionate and highly qualified full-time English-speaking instructors to join our institution for the 2026–2027 academic year and beyond in the following subject areas: Mathematics, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), English as a Foreign Language, Geography, Critical and Creative Thinking, Computer Science, Citizenship, World History, and Design and Technology. Instructors will design and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that foster critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. Successful candidates will employ interactive teaching approaches and adapt the curriculum to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that promote active participation and independent thinking. Design and implement differentiated instruction to support students with varying skill levels. Prepare lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals and learning outcomes. Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and exams, and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment. Offer weekly office hours for individual academic support. Keep accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress. Participate in training, workshops, and team meetings to enhance teaching practice and contribute to curriculum development.
Qualifications and Requirements
Master’s degree in a relevant field. At least two years of teaching experience. Experience with project-based or experiential learning is an asset. Ability to design interactive and inspiring lessons, adapt curricula to meet diverse learning needs, and use educational technology effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for student development, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit.
Teaching Details
Class size ranges from 16 to 24 students. Responsibilities include syllabus design, lesson planning, instruction, assessment and feedback, participation in seminars and meetings, and maintaining office hours.
