Duties and responsibilities
  • Teaching topics at Basics of Entrepreneurship in Pharmacy, Digital Pharmaceutical Care and Social Pharmacy and drug safety courses using modern methodological and educational technological approaches within Bachelor’s and Master studies programmes and Lifelong Learning programmes - giving lectures, seminars and practical work. Activities related to the administration and development of teaching.
  • Supervision of student research work.
  • Research and development work in the area of Pharmaceutical Entrepreneurship, Digital Pharmaceutical Care and Social Pharmacy as part of the Social Pharmacy Research Group.
  • Conducting development work that supports personal and professional development at the Institute of Pharmacy.
  • Development of collaboration within the University's different institutions and between Universities in Estonia and in the world.
  • Self-improvement in teaching and supervision skills and research and development.
Required qualifications
Master's degree in pharmacy or an equivalent qualification.
 
Required experience
  • The candidate must have experience in the research and development work in the area of Pharmaceutical Entrepreneurship and Social Pharmacy.
  • The candidate must be qualified to teach at the university in the area of Pharmaceutical Entrepreneurship and Social Pharmacy and supervise students.
  • The candidate must be ready to conduct research and development work.
  • It is desired that the candidate have some previous work experiences in Pharmaceutical Entrepreneurship.
  • The candidate must have good skills to communicate with students and support them during their studies in seminars and lectures.
Required language skills
Excellent English and Estonian language skills.

Salary
Remuneration based on UT Salary Rules.

Institute of Pharmacy, Associate Professor in Social Pharmacy Daisy Volmer, karin.kogermann [ät] ut.ee and the Head of Institute of Pharmacy, Professor Ain Raal, ain.raal [ät] ut.ee.

The workload of the future employee will be 0.5, of which 0.3 work will work indefinitely and 0.2 work will replace the employee on parental leave.
