Duties and responsibilities
  • Teaching at the first two levels of higher education, using modern teaching methods and educational technology.
  • In the case of adequate experience supervising students of the first and second level of higher education.
  • Teaching development.
  • Activities related to the administration and development of teaching.
  • Professional development, incl. to enhance teaching and supervising skills.
  • Participation in research, development and creative activities of the structural unit under the supervision of a professor or associate professor.
  • Research in five years at least in the volume equivalent to that of 1/3 of a doctoral thesis (at the workload of 1,0).
  • Development of skills necessary for research, development and creative activities, and professional development.
  • Popularisation of the specialisation.
Required qualifications
Master's degree or an equivalent qualification
Required experience
  • Ability to teach at the first two levels of higher education.
  • Knowledge of modern study aids, learning environments, learning methods and their development opportunities.
  • Ability to participate in research, development and creative activities.
Required language skills
Excellent command of Estonian and good English skills are needed for communication in his/her field.
