Position Overview

  • Part-time teaching role (term-by-term appointment, non-tenured)

  • Teach up to 2 courses per term, not exceeding 10 courses per year

  • Deliver instruction for Associates, Bachelors, and Masters degree programs

  • Engage in professional development, curriculum work, and faculty governance as needed

  • Scholarship/research is not required

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a student-centered learning environment to promote success

  • Teach synchronous seminars (10-week units)

  • Maintain virtual office hours and timely communication with students and administration

  • Lead message board discussions and facilitate online coursework

  • Partner with Academic Advisors to address student concerns and ADA accommodations

  • Maintain accurate student grade records and submit mid-term/final grades on schedule

  • Enforce student conduct policies

  • Attend departmental and faculty meetings as requested

  • Stay current with technology trends and online teaching methods

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the School

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree + 18 graduate credit hours in Psychology, ABA, Education, or related field

  • BCBA or BCBA-D certification

  • 1–3 years of relevant practical/professional experience

  • Online higher education teaching experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Adjunct pay: ~$2,800 per 10-week course

  • Retirement benefits: automatic 403(b) contribution of 3%, optional match up to 4% with 457(b) participation

  • Remote position, U.S. work authorization required
