The Parrhesia Program for Public Thought & Discourse invites applications for part-time Lecturers to teach in its Minor in Science Communication & Public Discourse.
The selected candidate(s) will have part-time teaching opportunities within the Minor and will be responsible for:
Preparing and teaching seminar-style undergraduate courses
Holding regularly scheduled office hours
Preparing, grading, and providing written feedback on student assignments
Depending on curricular needs, successful candidates may teach between one and four courses per academic year.

The terms and conditions of employment are governed by a collective bargaining agreement between the University and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).
Per-course salary (AY 2025–26): At least $8,883
This position is not eligible for benefits.
Employment is contingent upon budgetary approval.
Required:
PhD in a humanistic or social sciences discipline
Minimum of one year of teaching experience at a university or four-year college
