Title: Lecturer of Computer Science

PNW seeks a motivated Computer Science educator to teach introductory and intermediate programming courses, with potential to teach other areas such as:
Data structures
Operating systems
Discrete mathematics
Computer architecture
Networking
Databases
Software engineering
Artificial intelligence
Other specialty areas supporting department priorities
The role emphasizes: curriculum development, student evaluation and advising, and engagement with department and program initiatives.
Teach assigned courses in computer science, both lecture and lab settings
Develop and update course materials and curriculum
Advise and mentor students
Contribute to recruitment and marketing of the CS program
Serve on departmental, school, or university committees
Engage in scholarly activity related to teaching
Maintain current professional knowledge and skills
Required:
M.S. in Computer Science (or ABD) or related field by August 3, 2026
Demonstrated or strong potential for outstanding teaching
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Preferred / Desirable:
Breadth of knowledge across multiple areas of computer science
Experience contributing to curriculum development
Evidence of engagement in professional organizations or research
