UCC wishes to appoint an experienced academic to the role of Lecturer (Above the Bar) in Education. The post requires expertise in special and inclusive education, as well as the potential to teach across programmes within the School of Education.
Reporting to the Head of School, the successful appointee will contribute to teaching, assessment, school placement, programme development, and administration at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The appointee will also be expected to engage in research and scholarly activity relevant to the discipline of Education and supervise research students.

Evidence of research expertise appropriate to the grade of the post, together with contributions to the broader field of Education, is required.

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer (Above the Bar) Salary Scale:
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
