The UC Irvine School of Education has need for temporary, part-time lecturer in Spring of 2021 to teach an introductory statistics course in the Education Science undergraduate degree program. Courses are typically pre-scheduled for either 80 minutes on Tuesday/Thursdays or for 50 minutes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Winter 2021 courses will be offered online.
The current position is to teach Education 15: Statistics for Education Research.
Service Period Dates for 2020-21:
Spring Quarter: 3/24/21 – 6/11/21 (Instruction begins on 3/29)
Minimum Qualifications:
A master's degree, a record of successful teaching experience, and demonstrated expertise in the content of the course to be taught. Relevant experience may be considered.
Desired Qualifications:
A doctoral degree in education or a field related to the course to be taught. Teaching at University level; experienced in digital learning technologies and using Canvas as a learning management system.
