The Department of Slavic, East European and Eurasian Languages and Cultures is seeking a part-time lecturer to create and conduct an introductory two-unit upper division course on Kazakh history and culture, and a second two-unit introduction to the Kazakh language, in the Spring Quarter, 2021. Minimal requirements include an MA degree or higher in a discipline related to the Central Asian area, general familiarity with Kazakh history and culture and sufficient knowledge of the Kazakh language to provide introductory lessons.
