USC Gould School of Law is seeking an instructor to teach our online Regulatory Compliance class. The instructor will then teach the course during the Fall 2021 semester, from September to December 2021. We expect that the instructor will spend approximately 10-15 hours of work per week on instruction of the course, including the timely grading of assignments and communication with students.

Students enrolled in this course will be in our Online LL.M., Online M.S.L., and various of our Online Certificate programs. Courses will be developed and taught fully online; lecturers may work from any location. Candidates should have strong professional background in the field, preferably with law school and/or online teaching experience.

Regulatory Compliance (3 units) - Compliance is the process of ensuring that a company and its employees follow the laws, regulations, and standards that apply to an organization. This course provides students with an examination of various areas of law, regulation, and policies, as well as the ways specific industries utilize compliance protocols or programs. Central principles, as well as the statutory and regulatory framework that governs this growing field of compliance, will be analyzed.
