The Department of Management and Global Business School, Rutgers Business School – Newark and New Brunswick invites applications for Part Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions in the undergraduate and MBA programs for the Spring 2021 Semester. The Spring Semester begins on January 19, 2021 and concludes with the end of the exam period on May 12, 2021.

Applicants are sought to teach in Strategy, International Business, Ethics, Leadership, Entrepreneurship and other management classes.

Successful applicants are expected to attend orientation, prepare and submit course syllabi, provide timely student feedback, respond to student emails, and adhere to grade submission policies and deadlines.

Course appointments may be made for courses offered in online format. If courses are offered in face-to-face format, then course appointments may be made for the New Brunswick or Newark campuses as well as off-campus locations. Appointments may require instruction during day or evenings on weekdays and/or weekends.

Minimum Education and Experience

Graduate degree (MBA or doctorate preferred), OR Bachelor’s degree plus exceptional professional reputation or accomplishment, OR Bachelor’s degree plus professional certificate in area of instruction or related area

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Demonstrated ability to teach in a university setting is highly desirable. In addition, it is anticipated for Spring 2021 that courses offered by the Management and Global Business Department may be offered online, either synchronously or asynchronously. Candidates should therefore be capable with online instructional methods and technology.

Equipment Utilized

Online technology, including computers, webcams, microphones, and adequate broadband internet access.
