Principal Duties
Candidates are sought who have demonstrated success as a performing artist, teacher of dance, or certification in dance/movement therapy. Responsibilities include:
- Teaching dance history
- Modern dance classes (all levels)
- Improvisation
- Composition
- Cultural dance
- Methodology in dance education (undergraduate and graduate)
Required Qualifications
- MA, MFA, or PhD in dance or a dance-related field
- Five years of relevant experience
- Prior college teaching experience is a plus
