University College Cork (UCC) invites applications for the position of Specialist Lecturer in Oral Surgery at Cork University Dental School & Hospital. In line with UCC’s strategic mission as a research-led institution, the successful candidate will contribute to research, research-led teaching, and service to the University, the discipline, and the wider community.
The postholder will teach and examine undergraduate and postgraduate students, undertake relevant administrative responsibilities, and perform other duties appropriate to the role under the general direction of the Head of School.
Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment in Oral Surgery
Contribute to research and research-led teaching activities
Participate in administrative and academic service duties
Engage with the academic, clinical, and professional community of the Dental School
Support the strategic objectives of Cork University Dental School & Hospital
Please note that Garda Vetting and/or international police clearance may form part of the selection process.
HSE Specialist in Orthodontics rate (pro rata 40%): €178,099 per annum
Salary placement will be made in accordance with Public Sector Pay Policy
