Position Description

The Department of Pediatrics and Division of Genetic Medicine is recruiting a Lecturer – Part Time. This candidate will based in the Clinical Training Unit within the Center for Human Development and Disability (CHDD). The candidate’s focus is expected to be in nutrition and managing various genetic, neurodevelopmental, and pediatric disorders. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the position includes clinical supervision and didactic instruction of graduate students, interns, trainees, residents, and fellows. This is a 12-month non-tenure track position as a lecturer with the service period of July 1 to June 30.

All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. Anticipated start date will be Summer 2021

Qualifications

Teaching experience in either a classroom or clinical setting is required. A master's degree and 10 years relevant clinical experience is required.

Candidate must also have RDN (registered dietitian nutritionist) and CD (certified dietitian) credentials and experience working on an interdisciplinary team
