JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct and deliver lessons to full-time diploma students and adult learners in Psychology-related subjects, as well as in the specific area of Cognitive Sciences, Human Factors and UI/UX
  • Design, prepare and develop teaching and learning materials (for face-to-face and online learning) and assessments
  • Be attuned to the latest developments in the field of Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, Human Factors and UI/UX
  • Work with our Temasek SkillsFuture Academy on the SGUnited Skills (SGUS) programme and other admin matters
  • Source for industry placements for SGUS students 
  • Take on the Liaison Officer role for SGUS students’ attachments and marking for intern assignments
  • Conduct and facilitate student-industry collaborations and take on an active role in industry engagement
  • Supervise students in research projects that may be quantitative and/or qualitative in nature
  • Take on additional duties as necessary (e.g. committee work and outreach events)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualification in Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, preferably with some expertise in the domain of social and/or cognitive psychology, Human Factors and/or UI/UX
  • Competent to teach Behavioural Insights-related topics
  • Competence in teaching research-based topics is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience
  • A passion and genuine interest to share knowledge and interact with youths and adult learners
  • Has strong industry linkages to enable collaboration and engagement in a range of applied psychology projects and research
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High levels of professionalism and willingness to invest in continuous learning
  • Able to adopt scientific and empirical perspectives in working with colleagues, industry partners and students

The successful candidate will be hired on a 1 year contract.
