Position description

Position: Full-Time Lecturer position is Personality and Abnormal Psychology for the 2021-2022 academic year.

The Department of Psychology at the University of California, Davis invites applications for a full-time lecturer position in Personality and Abnormal Psychology starting in Fall 2021. The position is for one year, but could be renewed depending on funding. The primary responsibilities of this position will include teaching upper division courses in personality psychology and abnormal psychology.

In addition to a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, the successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the barriers preventing full participation of members from historically underrepresented and marginalized student communities in higher education, such as (but not limited to) women, underrepresented minorities, individuals self-identifying as LGBTQIA+, veterans, individuals with disabilities, economically disadvantaged groups, first-generation, undocumented students, or students with any intersections in between. Successful candidates will help advance UC Davis’ strategic goal of improving access and building an inclusive community for all marginalized populations.
