Position Description
The Department of Psychology at Harvard University invites applications for part-time lecturers for the upcoming 2023-24 academic year. We are especially interested in candidates who could teach empirically-based advanced undergraduate courses in social psychology, psychopathology/clinical science and developmental psychology, and graduate courses in clinical psychopathology/clinical science. In addition to offering courses, lecturers may be asked to direct and evaluate senior theses and to advise students on research and career interests.

Lecturer positions are for one semester or one year, with the possibility of renewal until the lecturer has accumulated a maximum of 3.0 annual lecturer FTE. (One four-credit course is equivalent to 0.25 annual FTE). Appointments are dependent upon faculty vacancies. No full-time positions are anticipated for the next academic year. Lecturers appointed to half-time positions may be eligible for Harvard benefits.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates are required to have a PhD or an equivalent terminal degree in Psychology or very closely related field (e.g. Cognitive Science, Statistics, EdD in Human Development) by the expected start date.
Additional Qualifications
Candidates must have a strong teaching and research background.

7) Applicable only for those candidates who have not yet received the PhD: A letter from your advisor confirming that the PhD will be conferred by the expected start date
