Position description

The Department of Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Languages and Cultures is seeking a part-time Lecturer to teach Beginning and Intermediate Romanian, 3 courses a year, in alternate years, starting in AY 22-23, which begins July 1st, 2022. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated knowledge of the Romanian language sufficient to teach all levels of the language as well as a familiarity with contemporary instructional technologies. Fluency in Romanian and English is required as is knowledge of Romanian culture and preferably one or more East/Central European cultures. The candidate must hold an M.A. degree or higher in a related field.
