The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECpE) at Iowa State University (ISU) invites applications for two part-time positions of Lecturer (term faculty) to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in software engineering.
The successful candidate is envisioned to be a skilled and enthusiastic educator who is able to use an appropriate mix of traditional and innovative approaches, such as online, project-based, active, and asynchronous learning, to deliver course material. The position is for a 2-semester term. Candidates are expected to have an excellent record of achievement in teaching or engineering practice in software engineering.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates for this position must hold a Ph.D. OR an MS degree and 1 year of professional experience, OR a BS degree and 5 years of professional experience.
Degree must be in software engineering or a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Practical experience in the area of specialization and a Ph.D. in the specialty area are preferred.
