About the Role

Applications are invited for the above post to work as part of the academic faculty within the Institute of Health Sciences (IHSE). The successful applicant will personally contribute to student education and experience through curriculum development, delivery and assessment of teaching activities within programmes according to the applicant’s expertise. It is expected that role will facilitate the delivery and on-line development of modules, including blended learning, across a range of programmes working with module leads; and also enhance the interface between university and clinical placements. The role is both student and staff facing and it is envisaged that the post-holder will develop strategic approaches to on-line and eLearning working effectively with the relevant staff.

About You

Candidates will have a PhD in a field related to Medical Education/ Medical Education Technology, and / or relevant professional qualification and relevant experience of teaching. Excellent IT and on-line medical education technology skills are required at the level required to undertake teaching, scholarship, leadership including faculty development, and support duties. You will need good communication and team working skills.

The post is based at the Whitechapel campus in London. It is a full-time role indefinite appointment. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £44,807-52,833 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. It may be possible to undertake the role as a job share.
