About You

To apply, you should have a PhD and must have an appropriate track-record of high-quality research in the field of Telecommunications. It is essential that you have clear and ambitious plans for your future research and are able to develop research proposals and effectively manage subsequent awards.  Queen Mary is a signatory of DORA declaration, and as such the quality of your research will be judged on its own merits.

The post also requires an effective communicator of new and complex ideas, in both verbal and written form, and the ability to engage the interest and enthusiasm of the target audience. You will have teaching experience in Higher Education and able to deliver teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level in the following areas: Wireless Networks, Sensors and Radio Frequency Identification, and Communication Systems Electronics. This post is based in London but you will spend a significant amount of time in Beijing for teaching and assessment so you must therefore be able to travel regularly to China.
