Duties and responsibilities
  • Internationally recognised RDC (research, development and creative) activities in management and leadership field.
  • Development, planning, and conducting teaching and compiling study materials in the subjects of management and innovation (basics of management, basics of innovation, strategic management, innovation management) at first and second study levels of higher education in English language.
  • Supervising students at all study levels.
  • Participation in university governance and institutional development.
  • Social and public activities, offering specialist knowledge to the society.
  • Professional development to enhance skills necessary for RDC activities, teaching, supervising and management.
Required qualifications
PhD or an equivalent qualification.
Required experience
  • Prior teaching experience in English language in higher education institution; supervision experience and online teaching is preferred.
  • Internationally recognised research and ongoing active professional research in management and/or organisational culture equivalent to at least 2/3 doctoral thesis in the last five years.
  • Ability to manage and perform research projects, participation in the work of the international community in the specialisation, working groups and networks. 
Required language skills
English language required for teaching, research and professional communication. According to the Language Act, academic staff with foreign citizenship working in Estonia must have acquired at least B1-level Estonian language skills after five years of work. The Centre for Professional Development offers foreigners and their family members the opportunity to participate in Estonian language courses.
