Part-time Lecturers in Sociocultural Anthropology

The UCLA Department of Anthropology seeks part-time lecturers with outstanding teaching records to fill positions for academic year 2020-21. Successful candidates will teach upper-division undergraduate courses Anthro 149: Topics in Social Anthropology (Fall 2020), Anthro 100: History of Anthropology (Winter 2021), Anthro 169: Regional Topics (Winter 2021), Anthro 135:Visual Anthropology (Spring 2021), Anthro 136A: Historical Topics in Psychological Anthropology (Spring 2021), or Anthro 169: Regional Topics (Spring 2021). Applicants are required to hold a Ph.D. at the time of their application, and preference will be given to those who have demonstrated effectiveness in lecture courses.
