The PhD candidate will work on projects related to the development/optimization, testing, and implementation of Ecological Momentary Interventions (EMIs) for adolescent and adult samples with mental health problems. This will involve close collaboration with clinicians and patients and conducting focus groups or interviews with them. The candidate will also collaborate in current implementation pilots and with different mental health institutions for the implementation of EMIs. Moreover, the candidate will be very much involved in the daily management of projects. It is also expected from the candidate to write and publish scientific papers on the topic.
The successful PhD candidate has a Master’s degree in Psychology or related field (Mental Health, Psychiatry, Social/Health Sciences) with a strong interest in mHealth or EMI's and implementation science. Clinical skills and previous experience with mixed-methods (qualitative and quantitative) research is a plus. Also, the candidate must have good written and oral command of Dutch and English (C1 proficiency level).
A contract for one year will be offered, renewable for another three years after positive evaluation. Salaries for PhD students are competitive by international standards. The starting date is no later than June 2021
