The successful applicant will collect imaging and behavioral data in healthy older adults as well as older adults with late onset psychosis. He or she will apply advanced imaging analysis techniques on multimodal brain (f)MRI and PET-data in combination with behavioral measures. The work will be performed in a multidisciplinary team consisting of clinicians and scientists.
Position Qualifications Include:
Degree in Psychology (Master), Biomedical Engineering, Medicine or a related discipline.
Experience in one or more of the following areas are desirable:
- clinical assessment using behavioral, neuropsychological or physiological measures
- acquiring and analysis of (functional) MRI or PET data
- MRI of brain microstructure using diffusion imaging
- integration of functional and structural information
Strong programming skills, communication and analytical skills, ability to prioritize and manage own work, interest in collaborative, multidisciplinary teamwork, detail-orientation and ability to work independently are a plus. The candidate must be able to express him- or herself fluently in English and Dutch (written and spoken).
We offer a 1 year research position, which can be prolonged to a period of maximum 4 years in which the candidate must be able to finish his or her PhD.
