Applicants must meet one of the following:
Completed a second-cycle (Master’s) degree
Completed ≥240 higher education credits, with ≥60 credits at the second cycle
Equivalent knowledge acquired in Sweden or abroad
Completed ≥90 credits in Finance (or equivalent), including an independent thesis of ≥15 credits
Eligible candidates will be assessed based on:
Performance in previous higher education studies
Performance in independent written reports and theses
GRE General Test score (mandatory; department code 0008)
Communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in English (written and oral)
Letters of recommendation
Start date: 1 September 2026
Employment type: Fixed-term doctoral student position under Chapter 5 of the Higher Education Ordinance (1993:100)
Duration: Up to 4 years full-time
Workload: Primarily devoted to doctoral studies; up to 20% may include teaching, research, or administrative duties
Renewal: Employment is renewed annually (maximum 2 years at a time)
