The Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University Tübingen is looking to fill 

A post-doc position in Quantum Information Theory (m/f/d, E 13 TV-L).  

The position will be offered for 12 months with an option of extension for two more years depending on funding and will have as topic the development of novel quantum algorithms, in the framework of a project funded by the state of Baden-Württemberg. One of the latest and most powerful quantum computers from IBM will be available for implementing and testing the theoretical ideas. 

We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a background in quantum information theory. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in quantum algorithms and/or quantum tomography.
