In the quantum photonics group, we specialize in developing quantum photonic nanostructures for deterministic photon sources including single-photon sources and multi-photon entanglement sources. The developed hardware is employed for quantum-information processing applications for advanced quantum communication and photonic quantum computing.

Several postdoc positions are currently available within the following areas: 1) Deterministic generation of photonic cluster states with quantum dots in photonic nanostructures. 2) Application of advanced single-photon sources for quantum cryptography. 3) Photonic quantum computing with quantum dot photon sources.

The position is for 2 years with the possibility of extension and is open from 1 April or as soon as possible thereafter.

Terms of employment

The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff. 

Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.
