Salary Details
The minimum calendar year salary will not be less than $63,968.

The evolve-D lab, under the direction of Siobhán Cully in the Department of Anthropology seeks a postdoctoral researcher to join interdisciplinary projects addressing evolutionary medicine and human behavior. This is a calendar year position.
Candidates with experience in quantitative, laboratory, or field-based methods and/or theoretical expertise in the evolution of kinship, gendered labor divisions, or disability are encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. in anthropology, biology, demography, statistics, or a related field is required.

Ph.D. in anthropology, biology, demography, statistics, or a related field, or Ph.D. expected by May 2026.
Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following areas:
Design and implementation of accessible lab/field-work and related training programs
Proficiency in human biological lab-based methodologies, including human energetics, anthropometry, and biological markers
Quantitative analysis of complex data
Evidence of collaborative publications (in press or near-submission is acceptable)
Certifications/Licenses
Strong background in theory or methods related to evolutionary paradoxes in human biology and behavior; proficiency in lab- or field- or computational research; strong analytical skills; excellent communication and scientific writing skills; ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
