Position Summary

A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Chemical Biology at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University.

The role involves research on the role of metabolism in cancer, with training in:

  • Biochemistry
  • Quantitative metabolism
  • Cancer research

The candidate will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and receive guidance toward an independent research career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research experiments and specialized laboratory techniques to study nutrient supply and tumor metabolism.
  • Work with mouse and cell line cancer models.
  • Perform quantitative metabolism and biochemical analyses.
  • Prepare written reports of research findings.
  • Prepare grant proposals based on conducted research.
  • Deliver oral presentations of research.
  • Assist in training students, fellows, and laboratory staff in techniques and instrumentation.
