The Department of Biostatistics & Bioinformatics (B&B) engages in methodological and collaborative research, providing international and regional leadership in:

The department is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Associate to join Dr. Wenpin Hou’s research team.
Develop and implement novel computational and statistical methods including:
Deep learning and transformers
Spatiotemporal data modeling
Functional data analysis
Bayesian models
Network modeling
Analyze complex datasets in genomics and data science, including:
Single-cell genomics
Epigenomics
Multiomics
Spatial transcriptomics and multiomics
Integrate and analyze multimodal data sources (imaging, multiomics, and other real-world data) to address challenges in omics and health research.
Contribute to publications in high-impact journals and conferences.
Advise graduate and undergraduate students within Dr. Wenpin Hou’s research group.
Ph.D. in Quantitative Biology and Medicine
