Position Overview

As a postdoctoral scholar, you will:

  • Conduct experimental research on redox flow batteries, focusing on 3D electrodes, hydrodynamics, and dynamic flow regimes.

  • Supervise PhD students and assist ongoing research projects.

  • Maintain and oversee the redox flow battery lab.

  • Develop new research projects and participate in national and international grant applications.

  • Publish results in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.

  • Contribute to academic services and represent the research group internally and externally.


Candidate Profile

  • PhD in Engineering, (Electro)Chemical Engineering, Applied Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Expertise in redox flow batteries and electrochemical engineering.

  • Strong experience in experimental battery research.

  • Fluent in English (C1 preferred).

  • Independent, high-quality research output with integrity, creativity, and teamwork.

  • Knowledge of grant writing and fundraising; experience supervising students is an asset.

  • Recommendation letters are highly advised.
