The Great Lakes Water Innovation Engine (Great Lakes ReNEW) is seeking 9 postdoctoral research fellows to work on the selective separation of nutrients, critical minerals, and energy from wastewater, including the development of sensors and sensor networks and testbeds for validation.

Research Areas: Sensors, nutrient recovery, emerging contaminants (e.g., PFAS), selective separations, materials science.
Education: Ph.D. or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum of one first-author publication.
Skills:
Strong interest and record in basic or translational research.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on cross-institutional teams.
