The University of Chicago's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience is seeking full-time faculty members at any rank to contribute to the Supportive Oncology Psychiatry program.
Responsibilities include:
Psychiatric care for hematology and oncology patients and their families in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Conducting assessments and consultations for patients and families
Contributing to the growth and development of the Supportive Oncology Psychiatry program
Teaching and supervision of trainees and students
Scholarly activity
Academic rank and compensation, including a generous fringe benefits package, will be dependent upon qualifications.

Prior to employment, applicants must:
Have a medical doctorate or equivalent
Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Illinois
Be Board certified or eligible in General Psychiatry
Have completed residency training in Adult Psychiatry

Are skilled at working as part of a multidisciplinary care team
Have experience contributing to the growth and development of a Psychosocial Oncology Program
