The Role
Macquarie University is seeking a suitably qualified Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join a talented and dynamic Faculty of Science and Engineering research team. This exciting opportunity sits within the Department of Computing.
Reporting to the Director of Data Analytics Research Lab, Dr. Amin Beheshti, you will:
About You
You will have completed a PhD in a related discipline. You have a strong analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude. You will assist and collaborate with a team of world-renowned researchers to work on different aspects of data science and from the development of theoretical frameworks, to the empirical and data-driven analysis of real-life applications and datasets. The successful applicant will build learning algorithms and intelligent platforms to facilitate big (educational) data analytics. You will work closely with collaborators from the industrial partners.

The Data Analytics Research Lab focuses on research that develops techniques that can learn, predict, and make decisions. From AI and machine learning techniques, through data mining and natural language understanding, to large scale distributed computation technologies.
