Completed second-cycle degree (Master’s) with at least 240 ECTS, including 60 ECTS at second-cycle level.
At least 30 ECTS in media and communication studies (or equivalent, e.g., strategic communication).
Completed independent scholarly work of at least 15 ECTS at second-cycle level.
Sufficient proficiency in English for research literature, coursework, and seminars.
Primary consideration: ability to benefit from doctoral studies.
Particular weight on Master’s thesis and proposed doctoral dissertation idea.
Assessment also considers independent working ability, structured approach, and contribution to a positive research environment.
CV with certified degree certificates, transcripts, and other documentation.
Master’s thesis and other scholarly publications (e.g., articles).
Personal statement outlining background, interest in the field, and motivation.
