Description

The McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering at The University of Texas Austin is seeking to fill a senior faculty position, with a focus on research and teaching in separation technologies. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who can bring together collaborative teams from academia and industry, advancing translational research that utilizes the University’s recent multi-million-dollar pilot-scale investments at the Process Science and Technology Center.

Responsibilities include:

  • Mentoring graduate students

  • Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses

  • Developing a robust externally funded research program

  • Collaborating with faculty from different research areas

  • Contributing to university and professional service

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in chemical engineering or a related field

  • Proven record in academic research

  • Experience with industry-academia partnerships
