Description

The Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering and the Department of Chemistry at the University of Chicago invite applications for a tenured Professor position.

The appointee will be expected to:

• Conduct research in theoretical chemistry and computational materials science.

• Submit research findings for publication.

• Attend national and international conferences and professional meetings.

• Conduct graduate and undergraduate courses.

• Advise students and mentor postdoctoral researchers.

This position is benefits-eligible. Information regarding benefits can be provided upon request. The position may also be eligible for a taxable moving allowance and housing support.

Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Hold a PhD in chemistry, physics, materials science, or a related field.

• Qualify for appointment at the rank of full Professor with tenure.
