Role Description

  • Contribute to internationally outstanding research in health economics and policy.
  • Apply economic perspectives and quantitative analysis to support academic thinking and policy decisions.
  • Strengthen and expand CHE’s Health Policy team research portfolio.
  • Engage in research leadership, shaping the Centre’s research direction.
  • CHE encourages on-campus presence for at least 50% of contracted hours, ideally Tuesday–Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and lead high-quality research in health economics.
  • Apply state-of-the-art quantitative and economic methodologies.
  • Secure substantive grants and funding for self and team members.
  • Supervise and mentor early career researchers and doctoral students.
  • Maintain a strong publication record.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • PhD in Health Economics, Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of research techniques in health economics.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure grants.
  • Proven research leadership experience.
  • Track record of high-impact published research.
