The International Business (IB) Department at the University of Leeds is looking for an enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Professor of International Business. The Department is home to the Centre for International Business at the University of Leeds (CIBUL), one of the world's premier scholarly centres for international business and at the forefront of academia and practice. Its international standing is evidenced by several Fellowships of the Academy of International Business, and six medals of achievement from the Journal of International Business Studies. The research strategy of the Department is based on teamwork and co-authorship, reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of the IB field.

Research development is divided into four main thematic areas: 1. The determinants and impact of foreign direct investment (FDI); 2. The strategy of Multinational Enterprises (MNEs), MNEs impact on home and host country productivity and competitiveness; 3. Global innovation, international entrepreneurship, digital economy, born global firms, internationalization and performance of SMEs; 4. Global and grand challenges, sustainable practices of MNEs, international migration, global value chains, and global health; 5. Cross-cultural management, diversity, and inclusion, MNE and local governance.

With the ability to forge strong partnerships across subject areas and disciplines, you will have excellent organisational, collaborative and communication skills. We are particularly interested in candidates specialising in the areas of International Management, International Entrepreneurship, MNE Subsidiaries, Global Value Chains and Global Leadership, globalisation and digitalisation, Migration, remittances, global health and sustainability.
