Work­ing field:

  • Tech­nical and sci­entific coordin­a­tion of a european research pro­ject on exper­i­mental aero­dy­nam­ics.
  • Design and con­struc­tion of a powered wind-tun­nel model for TU Ber­lin’s large low-speed wind tun­nel
  • Install­a­tion of the required meas­ure­ment sys­tems on the wind-tun­nel model
  • Organ­isa­tion of wind-tun­nel test cam­paigns in TU Ber­lin’s large low-speed wind tun­nel
  • Data ana­lysis, report­ing of test res­ults, and pub­lic­a­tions in sci­entific con­fer­ences and journ­als
  • Pro­ject man­age­ment


  • Suc­cess­ful com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in Aerospace Engin­eer­ing or equi­val­ent with out­stand­ing aca­demic record
  • Exper­i­ence in exper­i­mental aero­dy­nam­ics, aero­dy­namic meas­ure­ment tech­niques, and data ana­lysis
  • Demon­strated exper­i­ence in design­ing and man­u­fac­tur­ing mech­an­ical sys­tems (ideally wind tun­nel mod­els) in a labor­at­ory envir­on­ment
  • Pro­fi­ciency in CAD soft­ware (e.g. CATIA), data acquis­i­tion (e.g. Lab­View), and sci­entific pro­gram­ming (e.g. Python, Mat­lab)
  • Pro­fi­ciency in using typ­ical office soft­ware (e.g. MS Office, LaTex)
  • Very good com­mu­nic­a­tion skills in Eng­lish and Ger­man
