The position is placed in the research group of Prof. Martin Berchtold, Section Cell Biology and Physiology at the Department of Biology and located at the August Krogh Building. The Laboratory studies intracellular signaling mechanisms involving Calcium as a second messenger.

The position is open from 1.6.2021 for 1.5 years and with 30 hours per week employment.

Job description
The job includes biochemical and cell biological work in the group of Prof. M. Berchtold. The group works on the role of calcium-binding proteins in health and disease, focusing on the role of mutated Calmodulin in heart pathophysiology and the function of several calcium-binding proteins in plasma membrane repair.

Terms of employment
The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.
Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State. The salary is based on your seniority. The starting salary is currently at a minimum DKK 355,727 including annual supplement (+ 17.1 % pension). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
