Research Assistant I/II in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 509093­­­­) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have at least an M.Phil. or a Master’s degree preferably in Biological Science, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or related disciplines; or a Bachelor’s degree with upper second-class honours or above plus at least 1 year of laboratory work experience. Experience in molecular biology, stem cell culture, and/or animal work would be a strong advantage. Applicants should be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team. The appointee will participate in research projects related to skeletal biology and associated disorders of cartilage, bone and intervertebral discs, using genetic mouse models, directed differentiation of embryonic stem cells (mouse and human) and transcriptomics.
