Research Assistant in Communication Science

We're looking for a Part-time (20 hours/week) candidate with a 06-month contract to join our Research Project. The labor contract will be managed by 3rd party. 



  • Conducting research activities including literature review, ethics applications, data collections, and advancedata analysis skills in bothqualitativeandquantitativeresearch. 

  • Ability to prioritise and manage a range of tasks pro-actively. 

  • Prioritising and managing a range of tasks pro-actively. 

  • Making the required reports on timely basis (weekly, monthly)

  • Research database management and record keeping 

  • Providing required supports for the research team for relevant publications 



  • Bachelor’sdegree, relevantin communication or higher education. 

  • University training in bothqualitativeandquantitativeresearch 

  • Minimum 1 year experience working in qualitativeandquantitativeresearch projects. 

  • Knowledge of analysistoolssuch as Nvivo, SPSS, PLS and related applications preferred. 

  • High level academicwritten skills with evidence of industry and/or academic publications. 

  • Demonstrated high level communication skills with minimum English IELTS 6.0 or equivalence.  

  • Demonstrated organisational skills, including time management

English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS 6.0 or Linguaskill 160.
