Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in Community Child Health Unit of the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine (Ref: 503416) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in child health, public health, social sciences, education, psychology or other healthcare-related discipline.  They should have a good command of written English and Chinese, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and good inter-personal, problem-solving, communication, organizational and administrative skills.  They should also be self-motivated, highly committed, and able to work in a team and to coordinate research projects independently.  The appointees will join a multidisciplinary team to assist in various large-scale epidemiological studies on COVID-19, and clinical studies in managing children and families with different backgrounds. They will collect data from schools, assist in study implementation, and perform data analysis. Specific on-the-job training will be provided.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  The appointments on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
