Research Assistant II in the Faculty of Education (holding the functional title of Project Assistant) (Ref.: 508754) (to commence in December 2021, or as soon as possible thereafter until August 31, 2024, on a fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Education or a related discipline, at least 2 years’ working experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.  They should be able to complete multiple assignments concurrently while balancing priorities and meeting deadlines, work independently, as a team, and under pressure, and multi-task. Those with advanced computer skills are highly preferred.  

The appointee will work on a project on learner diversity, with a focus on differentiated instruction, being primarily engaged in educational-related activities.  He/she will be responsible for providing administrative and managerial support to the team; coordination among schools, team members and project management office; supporting the development of an online planning platform; assisting in the preparation of promotional and dissemination events and materials; assisting in daily operations and performing other duties as assigned. Immediate availability is preferred. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
