Student research assistant (m/f/d)

for approx. 25 hours/ month (negotiable).

The position is to be filled as soon as possible. The duration will be initially limited for six months, but a renewal of the contract is possible. We offer a diverse job in a research project studying personality development in daily life. With this project, we seek to understand how events that happen in your life might lead to personality change over time. 

In this role, you have the opportunity to gain any specialist skills that this job requires (e.g., R, running online experiments) as you help us to understand possible causes of personalities change. 

Typical Tasks:

  • Literature and database search on psychology and education.
  • Support to create study materials (including experimental programming).
  • Running an experimental study on Prolific Academic (including responding to participants)
  • Data cleaning and pre-processing (sometimes using R or Matlab).

You Have:

  • A Bachelor or Masters degree in psychology, educational science, computer science, social science, neuroscience, or similar
  • Interest in research activities in psychology, education, and/or neuroscience.
  • Ability in reading research articles in psychology
  • High degree of independence and problem-solving ability
  • English communication skills (all work will be communicated in English)
